These Things Happen

Lolling around the domicile in my obscenely long white tee and neophyte UGG Cardy Classic Boots, feeling somewhat off-colour, the autumn vibes flooding through various corners reveal only remnants of summer. And I’m a bit overzealous at the thought of wearing my fall-ish clothes. If only the climatic indifference (obviously suffering from multiple personality disorder) would make up its mind… and mine!
The social-party inbox prompted a cornucopia of return e-mails, albeit sipping my herbal tea it took, ohhh about a millisecond to wonder and then fully comprehend why English Breakfast tasted horrifically like chicken… next time I must remember to rinse the coffee mug after drinking broth. Sorely embarrassed, but true!

Why do these ridiculous things always happen when I’m feeling less than par, like some kind of sick-girl vendetta or something… lol.

Safely said, these images were shot when I wasn't feeling so death-warmed-over. In the mean time, I'm trying to get over this hellish cold, while the constant reach for tissues has my face clouded in a pillow of white. Ugh.

We are having the same issues with weather here!! Why can't it just be sunny and warm and spring-like instead of every thing all at once? It makes choosing an outfit for the day extremely hard!!

I laughed throughout your post! Multiple personality disorder for the changing weather and the english tea masking itself as chicken flavoured broth. You're really a nong, but in the most pleasant and awesome sort of way haha.

Btw, the psychic made you cry? Why oh WHY? :O

Love the pearls and the studed belt, it may seem that they're oposite things, but in fact the fusion of both gives a cool style.
Also the booties are great.

Gunmetal Laces

The hillside was far more treacherous than it actually appeared, and even though I didn’t foresee clambering up and down the jagged terrain… my 8-year-old nephew (among others in our brood) got a real kick out of thinking I was some sort of neophyte Pink Power Ranger. Pity I left my blade blaster, metallic armor, and spandex suit at home. Not sure about spandex, but if you and all your friends want to start your own gang of crime fighting superheros, you'll need some matching outfits... something stylish of course.  (RTBU sweater, Topshop skirt and Emma Cook boots)

The Carousel Ride

A little storytelling... A modicum of silence swallowed the room as dusty shards of sunlight patterned the multicolored carpet. Decorated with an army of garish jewelry, everything jingles, almost intentionally, as the woman perched behind the large candy counter brushes invisible lint from her blouse. Her silvery hair is the color of cotton candy. She offers a genuine smile before shifting her gaze downcast towards her slender hands. Briefly, she examines their delicate surface that is creviced by time and wiser than yesterday. At four quarters per ride, it was a small price for six minutes of uncontaminated childhood reminiscence to sweep the memory warehouse. And while we kept the company of an epoch 1920’s carousel, 60 handcrafted horses, and funky reindeer, we went round and round, faster and faster… letting it take us to those secret places we almost forgot existed. --Bella H. p.s. The Writing Wall

Affronted by a (practically) nonexistent warning sign, the weather-beaten plastic dangling idly from a nearby telephone pole, clearly stated, Private Property . Even though our previous attempt at this location resulted in a prying patrol car… the graffiti mural, a derelict carcass of a once prominent amusement park, was obviously too wicked to pass blindly. Sprinting around with certain schoolgirl giddiness, the ridiculous amount of camerawhoring was starting to feel like some new Olympic sport. But before finally fleeing the scene, we noticed the black and red letters smeared across the far right side of the building that perhaps claimed an excuse to previous visitors. ' The Devil Made Me Do It' . Disturbing to small degrees, it did seem outwardly apropos to our deviant trespassing acquisition… our forbidden spray paint entertainment. (Vintage sequin butterfly shirt, Betsey Johnson tights, F21 skirt & jacket, Bakers fringe boots)
