This is a partial look at upcoming piece, Seeing You Heterochromia. Since I started painting, I've seemed to maintain my strange fascination with the congenital trait of having different colored eyes in the same person. Also, taking a minute to catch up on a few things.... firstly, I want to send sincere gratitude to the awesome ones at Trendhunter , FORME Magazine , On1 Culture Magazine , Athenna Design , Stylish Pics and Feathers of Me for my many unexpected and amazing features! I'm truly honored. Secondly, I'm revamping my Etsy shop  and adding new original art and photography, so please check that out when you have a chance. And last but not least, prints and other goodies of this little lady's close-up is now available in my society6 shop .

Little daisies in the studio...

In case you can't tell, I'm backpedaling a little... trying to sort through and share work from 2012 that I've never posted before. Seriously can't believe I never showed some of these!  "Windswept" and "Little Horns"   Original paintings:  http://bellaharris.tictail.com/ Print shop:  http://society6.com/bellaharris

Here's a peek at one of my latest paintings... this time, on canvas!

Many thanks to I-Event for this amazing feature and interview! Read about my journey into art  here !  Also... Pretty walls in my art studio, Renoir gazing, dreamy bedroom light, new work in progress (center), past oil paintings (bottom left), throwing a strawberry, spending time in the recording studio... and studying what's perhaps my FAVORITE painting of all time by Rogier van der Weyden (bottom right). And hey check it out, I'm a drawing! I'm accustomed to creating portraits of other people, so what a surprise to see my own portrait added to another artist's book of love. Thanks, Duke! And that's what's happening.
