Lovely! (And a tip I found to fix the colour issue - go into your Google+ photo settings and turn OFF auto correction. It should then work for new photos but won't change anything already uploaded.

Falling for Autumn

Nestled into my ritualistic spot in the writer’s lair, this early morning grogginess calls for only one solution, an uber-astringent coffee-coma. While poorly attempting to reboot my mental hard drive from last’s night block party/scary movie combination, naturally, the hardly theoretical premise of seasonal concepts got me thinking. Spring, summer, autumn, winter… fashion. Springtime is like the icing on the cake, a teasing foreplay to what’s yet to come. Gradually, the sizzling summer heat sweeps through, peeling us from our clothes and dousing wardrobes like garland with tatty denims and platform gladiators. With a gust of wind, autumn rushes in accessorizing our lives with tights and trousers while winter… the shameless faux fur climax of the year, is frosting us with style. With that said, I felt a little ACDC graphic tee was necessary and um, the chains around my boots were once bra straps... now aptly deemed boots straps. I guess Victoria really does have a secret.

what rushes beneath us is a mystery

Rhapsodize. Rips. Reminiscing. Rosaries. Reveries. Sundries. Studs. Summer. Silk. Shorelines. (Zara dress, Seashell ~worn as ring~ that Alex found in the ocean, BrooklynThread and Egyptian bracelets, Jeffrey Campbell wedge sandals, F21 rosary)

Mad Hatter's Club

Must've been feeling a bit Guns N' Roses... With the celebratory catawampus winding down like an elderly jack-in-the-box leftover from the fades of childhood memory, we meant for a subdued and only mildly scandalous New Year’s Eve. A slight difference from the model of fulsome traditions, our intimate dinner party--fully fledged in the company of my love child camera, tippy top hats, and cocktails--came in with a whisper and went out with a bang. And as I stare to the horizon of 2009 and to all the rock’n possibilities sauntering forward with the New Year… a smile washes over. And into this vast internet superhighway, warmest wishes go out to The Minx and Fashionably Early , both ever lovely (!!!)… thank you for my blog awards. Colin Stuart ankle boots. Tripp studded gloves and shredded skinnies. Vintage (faux) caplet. Nordstrom-Savvy scarf.
