Drawing Evolution, Then and Now

2020 - 2016. A lot has certainly changed over the years. I don't get to draw nearly as much as I'd like but I do really enjoy looking at the progress and evolution of my work. Every opportunity is a learning experience.🖤 "Even Flowers Have A Dark Side" (left) is available at Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco, CA, and was created for the Beautiful Bizarre Magazine curated group exhibition "Midnight Garden". Wishing you a Happy New Year!

Palette Knife Portrait Painting

(Palette knife only- from start to finish)  This was my very first attempt with palette knife painting, and it was incredibly challenging.  There were tears, anxiety, and moments when I wanted to trash the entire project, but I didn't quit and stuck  with it until the end knowing I'd benefit from the experience. Phew, I did it!

Palette Knife Painting

(Palette knife only- In progress shot)  This is the FIRST time I've ever painted with a palette knife.  It's been challenging, nerve-racking, and I've wanted to punch through the canvas a few times already...but it's also been an incredible learning experience. More to come.
