Drawing Work In Progress

It's hard to believe the first and last time I showed a sneak peek at this new drawing was back in March... this year is zipping by in a hurry it seems. With every intention, I'm planning to post the finished piece this week, Monday at the absolute latest. Excited for everyone to see it!

Well, today’s officially my birthday, and even though we’ve been impulsively celebrating for the last three days… we had an unbelievable time entertaining the idea of these ridiculously fun pictures. I admit, there were a few larger than life bubblegum mishaps that probably should’ve come with a public warning, a lot of crazy fits of laughter, four Chihuahuas scheming to pilfer the giant lollipop, a couple of indiscriminately tongue-n-cheek choice phrases, spilled Heineken, torn fishnets, and several let’s pause because my ribs hurt moments. Face Time with Red Wine

Through the looking glass of a little green Beetle... Unaffected, I paid little attention to the insufferable ambiance that lent a mere 22 degrees or to an audience of six casual observers who felt it mandatory to applaud the larking about of my camera love child. So we clambered into the cold steel of one such orphaned shopping cart and went on our happy way. Special thanks to the lovely Vicen for featuring me in LOOK 10 ... thanks a million sweetie! And then the spell was cast

It’s a bit unsettling the degrees to which I pined for these boots, but when Chloé decided to morph their fall 07 ready-to-wear collection into some angry-girl with mortal combats… I just couldn’t resist the very lucid temptation. And after waiting rather impatiently to watch them work a little black magic , I can finally justify their funky charisma that really is simply irresistible. *Midway through the photo brigade, we got a bit loopy and then couldn’t settle on favorites… so ode to pictures galore, we're still not camera virgins* (VS hoodie, Topshop tank, Steve Madden studded belt, Vintage Levi's-DIY shred/studded pockets, Chloe boots, ebay sunglasses)
