Sitting at my desk, the sun disappears behind a raincloud that covers the sky in an ominous gloom barely worth mentioning. The Chihuahuas scamper about, searching for a sense of comfort in the corners of the studio with every insignificant stormy rumble. Poor babies. 
should be working on my drawing but there's a lot of research ahead of me and once I start something, I'm in it. With that said, I've been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to write for Beautiful Bizarre, a quarterly boutique publication featuring prominent and upcoming artists working in all mediums. You might have heard of it...pause, falls out chair.

As a woman of esteemed Cherokee ancestry, I've wanted to express and create a more spiritual atmosphere to my art for a long time. One that specifically depicts my bloodline... the strength, courage and exemplary virtues of some of the women I've been fortunate enough to know in my life.
