The beautiful.bizarre September issue arrived yesterday, and I immediately began styling and rearranging artifacts from the studio to capture this photo. I'm very proud of our diligent team. We invest a lot of time and effort, dedicating ourselves to every page and online article in order to produce a high quality magazine for art  enthusiasts  to enjoy and collect. The result of this commitment and perseverance is that it becomes a piece of art in itself, one even more beautiful than the last .  Bonus: It's an honor to have my piece on Dilka Bear published in this issue... plus it was fun interviewing her in the process.  The September issue, featuring Lostfish as the cover artist, is available in print and digital download, so please help support our magazine by ordering a copy . When my very first issue of beautiful.bizarre arrived the other day, I had one of those joyful, gratifying moments in knowing my name appeared on the pages, not only as the writer of the Aaron Nagel (cover artist) article but also as Editor's Assistant. Holding it in my hands, actually experiencing the tangible beauty was surreal and wonderful. Sitting at my desk, the sun disappears behind a raincloud that covers the sky in an ominous gloom barely worth mentioning. The Chihuahuas scamper about, searching for a sense of comfort in the corners of the studio with every insignificant stormy rumble. Poor babies.  I  should be working on my drawing but there's a lot of research ahead of me and once I start something, I'm in it.  With that said, I've been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to write for Beautiful Bizarre , a quarterly boutique publication featuring prominent and upcoming artists working in all mediums.
