Dear So-and-So, I want my coat back.

Apart from the fact that it was bordering glacial temperatures while we zealously scoured the city for every vintage shop available in downtown Denver, I'm trying to remember exactly where these shots were taken. All I know is that I walked inside freezing my ass off, and walked out with the most unbelievable (vintage 60's) powder-blue fur coat. I miss that thing, pity I sold it on eBay.

(DKNY drape cardigan, Forever 21 heels and rhinestone necklace, Badgley Mischka bag, random mess of jewelry, Miley Cyrus & Max Azria leopard jeans, gifted lace assym tank)

The Good Shit Lollipop

There goes the neighborhood... Being sheltered in my den with only four walls and a window view for comfort, I shamelessly craved a bit of social interaction and subsequently fled the domicile. Frankly, I was beginning to feel factory made by the persistent movements of the work grind. Resigning all care into something of the blithe, this slightly impetuous reprieve, which in hindsight manifests some seamless blend of sophomoric jubilation… was the universal tonic I needed. Gallivanting about the midnight streets in ballerina-laden skirts just before being propositioned by the dalliances of a graffiti-faced snowman, we accidentally though almost calculatedly deviated from the planned Weeds marathon. My newest television addiction. Four AMAZING lovelies granted me awards, so with that said, I'm sending out into this incredible cosmic highway, a very special Thank You to Dream and Fantasy (Honest Scrap Award) , tis serendipity ( Proxi Award ), Silje...

Tiny Dancer

Ode to pictures galore... we are NOT camera virgins. As the weekend swiftly dwindles away following a saga of dinner parties, Christmas tree mishaps (ornament wars), and that old familiar work hard, play harder mantra… my narcissistic denim tendencies beckoned like the call of the wild. In the very nearly retirement section of my closet they loitered, brooding in uncharacteristic glamour. But with a downcast feeling that pulls you from reverie… bluntly, I knew nothing else compared to the resurgence of my second-skin blue jean baby . And about a week (or more) ago, I was pleasantly taken aback when the lovely Carrie over at Bare Style sent an e-mail and subsequently mailed over a bundle of (unexpected) amazing goodies from her store Bare Accessories . Launching a slightly embarrassing (I won’t lie) celebratory dance, it took all of a minute for the clutch, bangle, and AA leggings to baptize themselves among the legion. Obviously fated to join the ranks of my closet, I can’t wait to tak...

Brooklyn cinder block

I want to tell you about Max Steiner, one of my favorite new designers whose visionary buoyancy sheds new light on his innate talent to see outside the box. When I was first contacted by Max, about a week ago, I did what anyone would do. I browsed his website . And as an artist, was instantly drawn to the various elements of his inspiring collections. Conceptualizing the simplicity of paper folding, Max tells me, "Folding paper since I was five years old has led to my ORIGAMI collection, one of my most popular. Working in an industrial neighborhood in Brooklyn has led to the development of the CINDER BLOCK collection." And the results are flawlessly executed. Not only does he incorporate an organic wearability through his architectural jewelry, but the fact that he does so with such an influential voice of his everyday surroundings, adds an extraordinary amount of intimacy that's hard to come by. Thank you, Max for my rad new cinder bloc...
