InstaNatural Dead Sea Mask// Retinol Moisturizer & Serum

I remember prowling InstaNatural's website and immediately spotting the Dead Sea Mud Facial Mask, hoping I'd have the opportunity to try it. As luck would have it, not only did I get the chance but InstaNatural also sent over their Retinol Moisturizer Cream and Retinol Serum 2.5% with 20% Vitamin C, 10% Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E & Powerful Skin-Firming Antioxidant Blend for Face, Eyes & Sensitive Skin!
Using all three in conjunction, one of my favorite things that because they advocate a thick, whipped consistency, a little goes a long way.

I also love the beautiful dark clay color, gel-like texture, and that there is no overpowering scent. The quick absorption leaves skin feeling clean and fresh and I've definitely noticed a smoother, more even tone. Plus, there were no signs of irritation so my sensitive skin is thankful. Made from 100% organic products, the natural Dead Sea Mud Mask delivers beneficial minerals and aids in detoxifying and purifying your skin to ensure a healthy complexion. Using this facial mask once a week also helped to purge my skin of blemishes and even a few fine lines!
BONUS: at 16 ounces, this is an extraordinary value!

Retinol Moisturizer Cream: I use this restorative cream morning and night with the Retinol Serum. Designed to hydrate, promote healthier skin, reverse the signs of aging, and protect against damaging external aggressors, this is without a doubt one of my favorite products! The long-lasting hydration makes skin feel silky without any residual oil. The results are wonderful. Overall, my skin looks and feels fresher...younger.
Retinol Serum: This little potion smells like a citrus vacation and fights deep wrinkles, fine lines, dark circles, sun damage and hyperpigmentation... what more could I ask for!
I use this morning and night in conjunction with InstaNatural's Retinol Moisturizer. The results are wonderful and there are no signs of irritation. The quick absorption and long-lasting hydration makes skin feel fresh and silky without any residual oil. Overall, my skin looks and feels healthier.

“I received this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased feedback.”

Brooklyn cinder block

I want to tell you about Max Steiner, one of my favorite new designers whose visionary buoyancy sheds new light on his innate talent to see outside the box. When I was first contacted by Max, about a week ago, I did what anyone would do. I browsed his website. And as an artist, was instantly drawn to the various elements of his inspiring collections. Conceptualizing the simplicity of paper folding, Max tells me, "Folding paper since I was five years old has led to my ORIGAMI collection, one of my most popular. Working in an industrial neighborhood in Brooklyn has led to the development of the CINDER BLOCK collection." And the results are flawlessly executed. Not only does he incorporate an organic wearability through his architectural jewelry, but the fact that he does so with such an influential voice of his everyday surroundings, adds an extraordinary amount of intimacy that's hard to come by. Thank you, Max for my rad new cinder block necklace. I sorta refuse to tak…

DIY: Malian Mud Cloth Bench

Last year, hidden away in a dusty corner of one of my favorite antique stores, I discovered this decorative wooden bench. The $20 price tag and carved details were too good to ignore and I quickly scooped it up. Even with its (original) dingy blue legs and worn crushed velvet body, I hoped that one day I could restore its soulless existence into something more appealing. After a little black paint and the beautiful design of this hand-woven Malian mud cloth, it looks better than ever!

The Leather Satchel

When Gail from The Leather Satchel Company contacted me with the amazing opportunity to choose a satchel of my choice to review, keep, and love forever I practically fell out of the chair. I'd been lusting after one of these gorgeous bags for the longest time, because while it may sound a bit unconventional, I thought it perfect for gallivanting about the sculpture park with my trusty writing supplies  swinging idly at my side. So like a springboard into the sea of opportunity, I leapt at the idea of writing about how much I adore the vintage aesthetic and sinuously detailed structure that creates an effortlessly downtown sophistication.
A family company since the late 1960s, The Leather Satchel Company strives for high-quality standards that are evident down to the stitch by their meticulously crafted leathers. What's even more amazing about these "quintessentially British" satchels is the assortment of available colors (dying over neon pink) and the 5-year artisan …
