Box Clothing + UGG Australia

(Spring 2013 Women’s Lookbook)

UGG, it's more than caveman sound.

Known as a universal symbol of relaxed Southern California style, UGG Australia has embraced the conventions of comfort with their sheepskin boots, slippers, and apparel. And let's face it, this time of year, when temperatures in the Midwest are reaching highs in the 20's on a daily basis, it's almost impossible to imagine myself in summer's best sandals or squeezing into a pair of shorts fictional enough that even Barbie might blush. So when I stepped outside to that magical white layer that covered St. Louis like a blanket, I quickly decided to spend a little leisure time perusing Box-Clothing.co.uk, one of the UK's foremost fashion retailers. Obviously, the first item on my search list was UGG. With eleven pages of fur-lined possibilities, the slightest notion manifested a spending floodgate that swung wide-open, breaching all self-discipline There I was, attempting a silent negotiation, yes-no-no-yes, which pair will keep me warmest.

With choices ranging from the ever-cozy basics to exotic cheetah outdoor slippers and even a classic short sequin boot for trendsetters looking to spark things up, Box-Clothing.co.uk had it all at my fingertips.

Cherokee | Drawing Progress

As a woman of esteemed Cherokee ancestry, I've wanted to express and create a more spiritual atmosphere to my art for a long time. One that specifically depicts my bloodline... the strength, courage and exemplary virtues of some of the women I've been fortunate enough to know in my life.
“The Cherokees did not separate spiritual and physical realms but regarded them as one, and they practiced their religion in a host of private daily observances as well as in public ceremonies.”
