Commissioned art process

It's always such a thrill when someone commissions me for a custom piece of artwork... I think I probably get as excited as they do. The entire process pours a kind of creative light through me from the moment it begins and then seems to flourish down to the very last details before their new painting sets out for its new home.

Here are some quick shots I took while packaging a commissioned piece for one of my recent clients. I kind of love that I have a compelling need to pretty everything with those special little touches... thank you letters, tiny print gifts and, of course, then tying it all together with ribbons.

Hi! I am a new silent follower of your blog for sometime. I really like your artwork especially the color combinations and the expressions you use in each portrait. They encourage me to renew my sketches! :D Anyway all the best and keep it up! :D
