Golden Potion: Valentia Even Glow Vitamin C Serum

I make no secret to the fact that I fully advocate trying various beauty products, and as I get older, this necessary enthusiasm continues its boisterous skincare journey. Our hair, skin and nails are sometimes among the first things people notice so ensuring their well-being is super important. Plus, I have sensitive skin that requires a lot of attention, so the bathroom countertop has become a makeshift sanctuary of cosmetic promises and vitamins alongside my Broad Spectrum SPF 70 daily regimen. Yes, always sunscreen. No excuses. But with so many products on the market claiming this, that and the other, the quest for the perfect age-defying, anti-gravity, wrinkle-reducing, fine line-eliminating, nutrient-building, super-hydrating, organic anti-aging serum can be daunting and really exhausting.

Devoid of vanity, there are times when the state of my complexion can impinge upon my entire day, I'm sorry to say. So, when given the opportunity to review Valentia's Even Glow Vitamin C Serum, I couldn't have been happier to nourish my skin with its results driven formulation, devised to enhance antioxidant protection, repair damaged tissue cells, and boost skin's radiance. Utilizing a combination of natural ingredients, Valentia has conjured a luxurious army to defend my skin without any harmful side effects or harsh chemicals.

This product contains no parabens & phosphates = AWESOME! I also love that I'm getting each of these natural ingredients in one powerful serum.
Vitamin C: Protects and Promotes the Skin’s Natural Processes
Sea Buckthorn Oil: Potent Healing Antioxidant
Rosehip Seed Oil: Renowned for Anti-Aging and Skin Rejuvenation
Resistem: Reduces Inflammation and Regenerates Skin Tissue Faster
Hyaluronic Acid: Protects and Helps Retain Moisture

First things first, Valentia Even Glow Serum didn't irritate my sensitive skin. The consistency of the serum is ideal for easy application, and after cleansing my skin it's become the first thing I reach for every morning. The amber pharmacy jar factor and a fresh citrus aroma makes the experience all the better... and so far, my skin is noticeably smoother.

Discover what Valentia can do for your skin & grab a bottle. Totally worth it.

Big Bad Socks...

A creature of habit, I attest to wearing certain shoes amongst other things... to death. Yes, I love these Mizrahi boots and this relic vest, I seriously can't help myself. And I couldn't resist buying this fringed bad-boy in brown as well! Taken in some random back alley, lined with boxes, crates, dumpsters, and only God knows what else... I tried to disregard the gang of manly onlookers, albeit the constant wolf whistles were somewhat distracting. All for the sake of fashion and photography...

Gunmetal Laces

The hillside was far more treacherous than it actually appeared, and even though I didn’t foresee clambering up and down the jagged terrain… my 8-year-old nephew (among others in our brood) got a real kick out of thinking I was some sort of neophyte Pink Power Ranger. Pity I left my blade blaster, metallic armor, and spandex suit at home. Not sure about spandex, but if you and all your friends want to start your own gang of crime fighting superheros, you'll need some matching outfits... something stylish of course.  (RTBU sweater, Topshop skirt and Emma Cook boots)

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

Today I say goodbye to my sister. Rarely do I write about the intimate details of my life, but this is a new chapter that I'm not quite prepared to read. After rummaging about the endless folders, these images so easily depict the emotionality of what I'm feeling. I wish Alex was here. I couldn't have imagined these circumstances, the recent trials and tribulations that have fallen across our small family like a dark curtain, but with time I suppose all things change. It isn't one of those situations when someone in your family simply moves to another state, and Christmas becomes second to seeing one another after months of sporadic e-mailing. This is different. When she made the impulsive decision (that came quite dauntingly) to pack her belongings and her child, and move to another state to be with a man she'd met only once, all we could do was ask her to stay. I asked a million questions in whisper because I ultimately want her happiness... because through the ...
