The Swan Queen

Seeing Black Swan on Thursday was a complete scheduling disaster, so even amidst sheets of light snow, my mom and I made an executive decision to go first thing yesterday morning to one of my favorite movie theaters. Funky drive-in cars, neon lights, stadium seating, an eerie film reel creeping us out from overhead, and completely empty rows perfect for the re-application of 6-inch Miu Miu platforms... the whole experience was definitely worth the wait. And let's be honest, I suddenly have a newfound admiration for macabre musical scores, upswept ballet hair buns, and Rodarte. Hope everyone's having a fantastic weekend.
