Maggie Magnolia

This is happening outside my studio window... Maggie has her first magnolia blooms!  Yeah, we're weirdos and name, like, everything around here... plants, paintings, squirrels, birds, bunnies, flowers, and even trees.

Simplicity and Flowering Branches

As springtime fights for balance in the day's chilly air, I decided to brighten the studio with these beautiful flowering branches. Coupled with linen textiles and handmade flea market finds, there's simplicity and elegance that comes with just a few stray clippings.  If there is one thing I like, it's creating a space that emanates a confident feeling of dedication and console, a space that welcomes you into its world, inviting you to stay just a little bit longer.

Commit to Springtime

A glimpse outside my window at bleakly monochrome skylines and barren tree limbs that appear more withered than yesterday and I immediately yearn for brighter, more colorful palette similarly seen when mixing watercolors. But on the hopeful, as the approaching airs of spring linger just around winter's drab silhouette, I couldn't be more excited to finally be rid of these cold mornings and sunless afternoons.  When I discovered Number Eight Clothing , a leading fashion retailer based in the heart of Scotland, I started browsing Ted Baker's collection and wanderlusting over the multitude of playful, floral-infused pieces that somehow make you happier just looking at them. The vibrant pops of color, orchid prints and origami inspired accessories, like this satin bag are truly irresistible.  This gorgeous collection of women's and menswear simply blooms with quality and cheerfulness, so if you haven't yet discovered Number Eight Clot...
