Fashion Blogger Watercolors

After a lot of contemplation, I've decided to share my artwork by making the original fashion blogger watercolor paintings available for purchase! They need good homes, and once they're gone, they're gone... so take a peek at my shop.

Each painting has been hand signed by the artist and will be shipped directly to you from the studio of Bella Harris. 9 x 12 inches, unframed, original watercolor on 90 lb acid free watercolor paper.

The Body

You can barely see it in the last post , so here's a clearer picture of what I've been working on in my new art studio... not that it hasn't come with little stop your heart stress moments. The first time I attempted this piece, now referred to as The Body , was mutually as terrifying as it was exhilarating. It was the first full hand drawing I'd ever attempted, and everything was going smoothly until the moment I decided to incorporate oil paint, also the first in my artwork experiences. My grandmother was an award-winning artist, but now, without her wealth of knowledge and go-to advise, this is really a learning/teach yourself process. The drawing was done and exactly how I wanted it, the hair and tights were painted, and the final stages involved adding skin and the completion of the tattoos. Jeffrey Campbell x Solestruck Box It Up

I bet many of you heard about (or even entered) the Jeffrey Campbell x Solestruck Box It Up challenge that took place last month that's giving one lucky person the opportunity to score $1000 worth of JC shoes and be the inspiration for the next shoebox design. And while I think they're still in the process of narrowing down three top finalists to display via their Facebook page for voters to decide the grand winner, I thought I'd take a second and share my entry with you!
