Eye-Vee: Painting Update

Eye-Vee: 20 x 24 oil on Birch panel

You've seen my artwork before, in terms of the charcoal/graphite/oil mixed media illustrations, but with the exception of sporadic teasers on my Facebook fan page, I haven't actually showcased any of my paintings. Maybe it's because I only truly implemented the use of the paint brush a couple of months ago... now I can't seem to put it down. So today, something in the air felt slightly magical, like it was finally the right time to introduce the other pieces I've been working on.
So here's a partial peek at Eye-Vee, the dangerous visionary. That's all I'll say about her for now, but once you see the entire painting, you'll definitely understand what I mean.
I hope you like her!

Happy Friday everyone!

It looks superb. I'm sure it looks even better on canvas, not as a photo.

Absolutely bewitched and bewildered while simultaneously worshipping the Paleolithic and instinctively sharp elements of this Spring 2011 collection.
