Friar Tuck

Decided I could benefit from the wiles of an extra-long weekend philosophy, rediscovered this Rodarte inspired shawl and had one of those little “Yes!” moments, perilously romped around in the zebra Topshop wedges, felt the rush of vertigo, played briefly in parking lots, bought Martini & Rossi, Diet Pepsi, and a Corona Light 6 pack from Friar Tuck’s, laughed on tarnished carnival rides, finalized imminent travel plans, ate snow cones, bought some crushed velvet and 80’s velour, photographed lots of incredible pieces for The Metal Ballerina Shop, currently loving my vintage YSL striped cardigan... and that's the end of my Friday thru Monday chapter.
(Dylan George jeans, Forever 21 heels and owl ring, Target tank, Bakers bag, TJMaxx shawl-brand unknown)

How carelessly stylish! I love daring assemblages and taking life easy on the gently flowing side. Too bad we don't get a better glimpse of your shoes... but very inspirational regardless! Keep up the good work;)

The Body

You can barely see it in the last post , so here's a clearer picture of   what I've been working on in my new art studio... not that it hasn't come with little stop your heart stress moments.   The first time I attempted this piece, now referred to as The Body , was mutually as terrifying as it was exhilarating. Jeffrey Campbell x Solestruck Box It Up

I bet many of you heard about (or even entered) the Jeffrey Campbell x Solestruck Box It Up challenge that took place last month that's giving one lucky person the opportunity to score $1000 worth of JC shoes and be the inspiration for the next shoebox design. I get asked a lot of interesting questions regarding my own shoe collection, so I spent the afternoon rummaging through the multicolored stacks of shoeboxes and paying particular attention the many labeled Jeffrey Campbell. The search for inspiration wasn’t difficult, and soon I knew ex
