Summer light from the sky

Even amidst 100-degree temperatures and escalating humidity… I’m looking forward to those hot summer nights with good friends and good company, attire so nonexistent they almost seem fictional, lazy afternoons, savage new kicks and denim cutoff tendencies, backyard blowouts, croquet shenanigans (yes, on rare occasions we give our best/ridiculous impersonation of playing), bicycling to and from the local Farmer’s Market, strawberry martini picnics, and all the carefree sunshine I can handle.

Cherokee | Drawing Progress

“The Cherokees did not separate spiritual and physical realms but regarded them as one, and they practiced their religion in a host of private daily observances as well as in public ceremonies.”
