After the day's work is at intermission, vitamins taken, long walk/jog accomplished and miscellaneous chores tackled, I'm taking quite nicely to this quiet, calming, almost anti-anxiety time out on a sunny but chilly Saturday evening. Sometimes these cherished moments simply mean rediscovering old family photographs that are cracked and tattered by the years they've survived while others are herbal infused meditative pauses spent nearly wild-eyed with delight over the nourishing spring reminder of strawberries & fallen sweet gum balls.

Cherokee | Drawing Progress

“The Cherokees did not separate spiritual and physical realms but regarded them as one, and they practiced their religion in a host of private daily observances as well as in public ceremonies.”
