Rainbow masking

It's been pure winter here, but I was so happy to be working with Sunglasses Shop that I figured sitting in the bitterly cold 25 degree temperature was totally worth it. They were sweet enough to send over these perfectly compact Sunpocket sunnies, which I feel have a certain long-term relationship quality. Not only do I get to walk around with a rainbow mask but they're meant for tossing in your bag, car, drawer, at your little brother or wherever and you don't notice them taking up any amount of real space. Plus they have a certain retro vibe that made me want to couple them with the many colors in this pretty kimono jacket.

Brainstorming endless possibilities, the process began with a series of sketches, clipart graphics, and silhouette collages until I further conceptualized the vision by deciding to submit only my illustrations.  After presenting numerous options, Graziano and the team exclusively selected their top picks... and after several months of diligence, reworking, and constant communication, my artwork was transformed into a beautiful line of ecru shirts forever deemed, Vintage Lollipops x M…
