Meeting Hana Elite

I was completely stoked when John, the owner of Misikko Marketing, contacted me and subsequently asked if I would be interested in writing a product review for his website Misikko.com that specializes in hair straighteners and professional hair dryers. Given the sometimes disobedient condition my lengthy locks are prone to create, naturally, I complied. So, when the UPS guy dropped the package door-side, I scampered to find the camera, opened the box with jovial rebellion, and began photographing my amazing loot.

Not only does Misikko maintain a highly regarded status for luxury products like the Chi flat iron and FHI flat iron, but it's evident they take immense pride in customer satisfaction. My new Hana Elite arrived beautifully packaged (with a wealth of unexpected extras), but the most uplifting of his generosity was the moment I saw a $25 personal check and SASE for me to send to the Haiti Earthquake Relief Effort. Thank you John, your sincere altruism is largely esteemed.

So like a springboard into the sea of opportunity, I leapt at the idea of writing about how much I adore the vintage aesthetic and sinuously detailed structure that creates an effortlessly downtown sophistication.
A family company since the late 1960s, The Leather Satchel Company strives for high-quality standards that are evident down to the stitch by their meticulously crafted leathers. What's even more amazing about these "quintessentially British" satchels is the assortment of available colors (dying over neon pink) and the 5-year artisan …
